A research project report submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of degree in Computer Technology of Meru University of Science and Technology
This project is aimed at developing a mobile appointment Gender Violence E/M-Health system gender based violence victims i Nairobi Women's Hospital. The system is an electronic/mobile based application that can be accessed by anyone who has internet access to either a computer or a mobile phone. There is currently no means by which the victims can be reminded of follow-up appointments. This is a major cause of concern as it is reported that up to 50% of treated victims do not attend follow up appointments. This application will automate appointment reminder services from hospitals to the victims. The system will also contain maps showing the location of services from hospital's braches as well as a chat forum where the victims can discuss their issues freely
