A project submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the award of degree in bachelor of science in computer technology

This is a project report document o f a system that will boost the agricultural sector by easing the link between the ministry of agriculture through the National Cereals and produce board ( NCPB), the farmers and the consumers . It consist of the organizational background detailing the information of board, the problem statement and the proposed solution. The literature review part of this proposal highlights and briefly explains other related systems that have been developed in the past. This project is as per the first millennium development goal which aims at eradicating extreme poverty and hunger. The implementation of this system will charter a new and improved way of transactions between the aforementioned parties, which will significantly boost the economical and agricultural sectors of our country as shall be seen in the document.The report document also elucidates the methodology used and the design of the system, and the system implementation process. An estimation of the project budget and the resources ( requirements) used for the successful implementation and integration of this system implementation and testing procedure. The last part of the document contains conclusions and the recommendations and the bibliography. The appendices part contains the system codes, the user guide, system screenshots and the project schedule showing all the tasks that have been carried out in the course of doing the project. It shows the expected and actual star and end dates of each activity.
